Introduction to Sophia Wien and her book:
The Seduction of Humanity: Profiling the Few Who Subvert the Many

People have fascinated and perplexed me from a very young age. Born and raised in the Netherlands, I was mesmerized by the pictures in the magnificently illustrated history books we used at school. Prehistoric artifacts, splendid churches, colossal ships of adventure, painting after stunning painting, genius discoveries and inventions, golden age tulip mania – it was all there on the pages.

Still, every other page showed savage battles and enduring wars, one of them lasting one hundred years. Reading about the genocide of Indigenous populations in the area called the American frontier made me even more concerned. It seemed to me that humanity destroyed with one hand what the other hand had created. As young as I was, I concluded that grown-ups did not know anything about love.

The disturbing adult failure required more study at the University of Nijmegen. I became well versed in sociology of the family, social psychiatry, and criminology. I titled my doctorandus thesis De vrouw in het nauw, Woman in a tight spot. The research included participating observation and exposed discrimination of women in mental institutions that stifled future possibilities.

In the criminology department I graduated under Prof. Dr. C. I. Dessaur. When Nazi Germans dropped from the sky in 1940, Catharina Dessaur was forced to leave her Jewish household in The Hague’s suburb of Scheveningen to go into hiding. She was barely eleven years old. She lived for three years under the name Ronnie van Dijk in sixteen different homes of farmers up North. She did not know if her parents were dead or alive. She had lost her name. She was forced to deny her roots and forsake her religion.

Her mother, Rosa Dessaur, talked about her World War II experiences on tapes of the Steven Spielberg Holocaust archive. Catharina/Ronnie wrote about her World War II experience in her book Het jongensuur, Boys’ Hour (1969). She used the nom de plume Andreas Burnier.

Dessaur/Burnier was an independent spirit with her own unique world view. She wrote about being born in the wrong body. She was half a century ahead of the LGBT movement. She published books about criminology and caused famous polemics. She described the world as an insane black Sabbath.

After graduation I worked at the Institute for Applied Sociology in Nijmegen where I noticed a substantial difference between the content of reports and real life. On to real practice, I thought as I joined the executive staff of a cutting-edge treatment facility for hardcore criminals. I was a twenty-four-year-old with a big bleeding heart. Nothing paralleled the experience of having long interviews with scores of selected murderers, serial rapists, arsonists, and fraudsters. I read every dossier possible and put together a treatment plan with a highly skilled treatment team. I wondered why every one of the criminals I interviewed had become like their abuser.

After seven years my mentor Adeline Salomé-Finkelstein, asked me, “Why are you still working with criminals? Why don’t you work with crime victims?”

Adeline knew a thing or two about victimization and survival. She was a Jewish Berliner forced to flee Germany in 1939 after Kristallnacht, the organized massacre against Jews. As a student in Amsterdam, she had worked for the Dutch Resistance. She was arrested in 1943, imprisoned in a Nazi camp in the Netherlands, and in 1944 deported to concentration camp Ravensbrück. Adeline was one of the thousands of prisoners who were rescued by Swedish count Folke Bernadotte in an arrangement with Heinrich Himmler. After World War II, Adeline studied psychology in Switzerland and founded the Institute for Psychotherapy in Arnhem, the Netherlands. She invited me to study at the institute, and I acquired certificates in psychodrama and group psychotherapy.

I moved from Nijmegen to Amsterdam and then to New York City to do some more investigating. I entered a three-year full-time post graduate education at the Blanton Peale Graduate Institute of the Institutes of Religion and Health founded by Rev. Norman Vincent Peale and Dr. Smiley Blanton. I received a certification in psychoanalytic psychotherapy.

A part of my thesis was a blistering letter to Sigmund Freud in which I used my three years of patient research to illustrate the fact that he knew nothing about women. Although his repetition compulsion research was brilliant, I did not trust Freud. He discovered during his work with wealthy female clients that a substantial number had been victims of incest. He denied the occurrence of incest in the “higher” classes. Freud whitewashed sexual abuse with “children fantasize.”

The thesis was awarded with the Ann Ulanov Prize. I had successfully moved from working with perpetrators to helping victims become survivors. I became certified in Imago relationship therapy (advanced clinician) and was in private practice in the San Remo building on the Upper West Side of New York City as well as the North Shore of Long Island from 1991 to 2016.

One long day, I found myself in the gymnasium of the maximum-security penitentiary Leavenworth in Kansas, surrounded by rifle-carrying guards. In between Indigenous ceremonies I talked with dozens of Native American inmates including the political prisoner Leonard Peltier. That one long day, a correspondence with Peltier, stays on Pine Ridge Reservation in South Dakota, and scores of Indigenous writers –from Black Elk, Vine Deloria and Harold Napoleon to Luther Standing Bear, Ward Churchill and Steven T. Newcomb – enlightened me about a part of history that most history books had conveniently left out.

My young son Lucas set his parents on the path to the Big Island of Hawaii. On that stunning island, in Pu’uhonua O Hōnaunau, I found Queen Liliuokalani’s book Hawaii’s Story by Hawaii’s Queen. We were driving, past Kealakekua Bay, beyond Napo’opo’o, without a plan or purpose in mind when Pu’uhonua O Hōnaunau suddenly appeared. I did not find the Place of Refuge; the Place of Refuge found me. So did Queen Liliuokalani.

Queen Liliuokalani’s story; years of research for my first book Tyrants Among Us; and the work of the great scholar Immanuel Velikovsky set me on the path to The Seduction of Humanity. Velikovsky was in sync with Indigenous origin stories, Hopi legends, and Indigenous observed reality. He uncovered physical, cultural, and political history denied by establishment historians. He researched humanity’s tendency to compulsively repeat trauma.

I discovered that the two hands I had perceived in my childhood did not belong to one body. One hand was the hand of inspired humanity; the other hand was that of a few ruling dynasties. Who are these dynasties? Why are they sabotaging the advancement of the people on the Earth? How did they do it? And how did they get away with it for such a long time?

Why do we repeat abstractions like military-industrial complex, deep state, or swamp? Why don’t we profile the small pack of flesh-and-blood people who run the world and study their personal ideology, intent, and modus operandi? The Seduction of Humanity provides answers to these questions.

A certain state of mind leads to certain choices and behavior. Disordered minds manifest disordered families and dynasties. Disordered minds manifest a disordered society. The present era of terror and chaos is engineered by disordered minds.

Disordered minds can be profiled. Disordered behavior can be observed in the moment and overtime. Patterns and repetitions of disordered behavior can be studied. Disordered intent can be established. Disordered agendas can be predicted. Knowledge about a presenting problem is potential. Aptly applied knowledge about a presenting problem is power and the premise of betterment.

Part One of The Seduction of Humanity, “Alienated Parents Devastating the Family,” organizes individual disordered minds according to seven pathological features. Featured are the house of Windsor, Premier Mohammad Mossadegh, Reza Shah Pahlavi, the house of Bush, Margaret Salinger, J.D. Salinger, Christina Crawford, Joan Crawford, Herman Brood (Wild Romance), James Hetfield (Metallica), Woody Allen, Mafioso Joe Bonanno, William J. Clinton, Hillary Clinton, Willem “the Nose” Holleeder (kidnapping Freddy Heineken), William Colby (CIA), cult leader Sun Myung Moon, Marvin Gaye, Marvin Penz Gay Sr., Princess Diana, and Charles Windsor.

Part Two of The Seduction of Humanity, “Disordered Rulers Devastating the Nation,” explains how the forementioned individual features have gone systemic overtime. Featured are the Holy See, the Holy Roman Empire, Venetian nobility, European royals, Club of the Isles, Club of Rome, Pilgrims Society, Hofjuden, the City of London Corporation, Nazi bloodlines, secret societies, eugenicists, lower servants, and a deadly machine. The deadly machine has been erected in place of the original natural web of life. It consists of interconnected parts that come together as a tyrannical system hellbent on waging war on all people on Earth.

All information used can be found in the public domain if you know where to look. Take, for instance, this observation from Dessaur/Burnier’s life found in her biography:

“On September, 15, 1941, the Germans [in Holland] forbade Jews to visit public parks and animal zoos, to visit to cafes and restaurants, to stay in hotels and guest houses, to use sports facilities, public swimming pools, libraries and museums. The atmosphere… is getting more and more forbidding,” ¹

Then compare the 1941 experience with the global experience in the spring of 2020. Does it sound familiar?

When we rise above compartmentalization, division, and the barrage of daily misdirection and connect the dots, we finally see the big picture

We the people are looking at the same old antagonist and the same trail of broken treaties. The antagonist has no interest other than his own and demands absolute impunity. He is insatiable, wants all and will leave the people with nothing. He is irreparably disordered and sadistic, works in secret, and is extremely cunning with the use of the hoodwink, the psychological operation, and the staged play. While we are trying to figure out what the hell just happened, he is onto the next double cross, the next experiment with human collateral, the next child sacrifice.

Undeterred disorder has gone systemic. It has never been reined in. Yet we the people are way ahead in numbers. All we need is bravery and comprehensive understanding to turn the tide. The Seduction of Humanity penetrates the wall of secrecy and silence, and delivers understanding all the way to the top, with no regard for denial or immunity.

Every place I have traveled and every experience I have lived has been part of the preparation. I thank my editor, Cypriene (Elite Authors), my clients in Europe and the United States, and fellow travelers I met on the journey. Clients stay anonymous. Fellow travelers are featured in The Seduction of Humanity: Profiling the Few Who Subvert the Many.

Without the support of the Great One, the ancients, the ancestors, the angels, and the Indigenous peoples, this book could not have been written.
